At 5 kilometers or 3.1 miles in length, the course begins at Washburn University Law School and travels west through a lovely and quiet residential neighborhood. Splits will be provided at 1 mile and 2 mile markers with one water station at the 2 mile mark. The course is very flat and well protected although only MacVicar will be closed competely to traffic. Course marshalls will be stationed at every corner and at critical intersections on 19th and 20th streets. The finish line is located just beyond the starting line. This is a USA Track & Field Association certified course.
