The Race Against Breast Cancer pays for no-cost mammograms for northeast Kansans year around. We are a self-supported non-profit so we have various fundraising events throughout the year to help raise our operating and program dollars.
The Race Against Breast Cancer is passionate about helping those affected by breast cancer and promoting breast health awareness. Our Make the Cut hair donation event gives our community the opportunity to donate their long tresses to Pantene’s Beautiful Lengths Program to make free wigs for women affected by cancer.
Thank you for your participation in RABC events!

Professional stylists will cut and trim your hair, so you can feel just as beautiful as those you’re helping out or you can bring your already cut hair to the event. The Race Against Breast Cancer will donate the hair to Pantene’s Beautiful Length’s program which takes the hair and fashions it into real hair wigs. These wigs are donated to local American Cancer Society offices to be given for free to women undergoing cancer treatment.
