FAQ
- When - September 22, 2012 (rain or shine)
- Time
7:30-8:30 am-Check-In/Register 8:20-8:45am-Dove release/warm up 9:00 am - Race Begins
10:00-10:30 am - Drawing/Awards - Location - Washburn University Law School south terrace, 18th & MacVicar, Topeka, Kansas
- Course - 5K (3.1 miles) with splits provided at 1mile and 2 mile markers with one water station at the 2 mile mark. See course map here.
- Parking - Free parking is available on the north & south sides of the WU Law School
- Runners Scoring - Microchip technology provided by the End Result Co. of Bettedorf, Iowa with results posted here after the 5K. To be eligible for awards participants must be entered as runners and must wear the chip provided. Please return chip to finish line immediately after the 5K. Results will be posted after the 5K event on site as well as online.
- T-Shirts - With each paid registration participants can receive a 50/50 blend T-shirt at no extra cost. Dri-Fit runner's shirts offered at an additional $5 with paid registrations.
- Breast Cancer Survivors - In addition to Tshirts, the Race Against Breast Cancer will honor all breast cancer survivors participating in the 5K event with a complimentary gift.

AWARDS
Awards will be given to participants who enter the running competition and wear an assigned microchip. The top 3 overall male and female runners will receive $100, $75 and $50 respectively. A Master's Award of $75 will also be presented to the top male and top female runners 50 years of age and older. Special awards will be presented to the top 3 male and female runners based on the following age groups: 12 & Under 13-19 20-24 25-29 30-34 35-39 40-44 45-49 50-54 55-59 60-64 65 & Over
