Early Detection Works - Providing screening services to women with no insurance or a high deductible that has not been met. Outreach to target populations in Kansas is helping to bring women in for regular screening services thus decreasing mortality from cervical and breast cancer. The program currently has over ninety direct service providers throughout Kansas providing screening mammograms, clinical breast exams and pap smears. Kansas has six regional areas, each with a nurse contact to assist you in finding a screening provider.
Shawnee County Health Agency - Providing services to the entire community to promote healthy lifestyles; prevent injury and disability; and protect against environmental hazards. This is accomplished through a wide spectrum of programs that assure accessible and high quality health services.
Stormont-Vail Health Center - Health Care Facility located in Topeka, Kansas.
Marian Clinic - Marian Clinic provides health care to people in Shawnee County who are financially unable to obtain it for themselves and their families. Marian Clinic is dedicated to a healing ministry based on the Gospel values of respect and empathy among patients, volunteers and staff. Guided by the charism of the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth, we believe that God's healing love is made present in this work. Marian Clinic strives for a preventive approach through education and wellness promotion, while providing medical care through Marian Clinic itself and dental services through the Martin de Porres Dental Center.
